Have a chat about saying "thanks"

The word "thanks" is so easy to use, and it's something we encourage our kids to say without really thinking. When your kids say "thanks," you could sometimes ask them why they're thankful. If they say thanks for a homemade cookie, is it because they love the taste? They're grateful for your efforts? Or is it because they were hungry? Sometimes we need to remember what exactly we're grateful for.
