While he was known by a number of monikers in life -- including "terror" for his pranks -- he should never be referred to as just "Pier." Apart from his multiple nicknames, or the religious name Fra Girolamo that he took when he became a Third Order Dominican, he would only shorten his name to Giorgio. His full name is Blessed Pier Giorgio Michelangelo Frassati.
