IMIĘ ŚWIĘTEJ DLA DZIEWCZYNKI

Fr. Peter John Cameron, OP - published on 10/06/22

From Servant of God Luis M. Martinez

Servant of God Luis M. Martinez (+1956 ):

Servant of God Luis M. Martinez (+1956 ):

Something in us attracted God, and this can be nothing but that which we alone have of ourselves: our misery and our nothingness. In this way our misery and our nothingness are our titles to be loved. When we present ourselves before God, instead of making a show of our pretended virtues, we must recognize and confess our misery and our nothingness, for they are what attracts God. There is an infallible means of attracting our Lord, and—I dare say—of obtaining from him whatever we will, namely, our nothingness. A soul that abases itself is all-powerful before God.
