When trying to console a grieving friend over the loss of their loved one, share with them a comforting Bible verse.

It can be difficult to know what to do or say when a friend is grieving over the loss of their loved one. Sometimes words aren’t needed, and all that is necessary is your presence.

At other times, a consoling Bible verse can help soothe a grieving heart.

Here is one Bible verse that can help, recalling the promise Jesus gives us that in Heaven, all our tears will be wiped away.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, for the old order has passed away.

Revelation 21:4
