While we are encouraged to pray "without ceasing," we can start with praying three times a day.

Many Christians have a habit of praying in the morning and in the evening. This is a praiseworthy habit, but the Bible suggests praying at least one other time during the day.

The author of the Psalms recalls praying three times a day, ensuring that prayer is a proper frame for our entire day.

Here is the Bible verse we should keep handy that will remind us to pray not only in the morning and at night, but also during the midday.

But I call upon God;
and the Lord will save me.
Evening and morning and at noon
I utter my complaint and moan,
and he will hear my voice.

Psalm 55:16-17
