A new movement in the Philippines is aimed at helping men imitate the virtues of St. Joseph.

At the conclusion of the Year of St. Joseph on December 8, 2021, the Catholic Church in the Philippines will launch a new movement entitled, “Men of St. Joseph.”

CBCP News explains that the “bishops’ conference gave its blessing to launch on Dec. 8 the Men of St. Joseph- Philippines (MOSJ-P), an association of men ‘committed to Jesus and consecrated to St. Joseph.'”

The movement is in response to Pope Francis’ apostolic letter Patris Corde and hopes to encourage men “to commit themselves to practice the virtues of St. Joseph.”

Any man aged 18 and older is eligible to join the association, which is being led by the Oblates of St. Joseph.
