The singer's health has forced her to bow out of America's Got Talent

The popular singer Jane Marczewski, who performed on America’s Got Talent(AGT) as Nightbirde, has recently shared on social media that she has been forced to pull out of the show due to her deteriorating health.

The singer captured hearts, not only for her beautiful voice, but for her incredible faith as she battles cancer. It was the news none of us wanted to hear.

But in typical Nightbirde style, her message to her fans was one of grace, gratitude, and a great deal of hope:

ANNOUNCEMENT: Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true. My point of view this summer has been astounding. What a miracle that the pain I’ve walked through can be reworked into beauty that makes people all over the world open their eyes wider.

Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all my energy and attention. I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it—but we knew that already.

Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. Stay with me, I’ll be better soon. I’m planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams.

Our prayers are with Nightbirde as she continues to battle cancer.

Prayer to St. Peregrine, Patron of Cancer Patients

Glorious wonder-worker, St. Peregrine,
You answered the divine call
With a ready spirit,
And forsook all the comforts of the world
To dedicate yourself to God
In the Order of His Most Holy Mother.

You labored manfully
For the salvation of souls;
And in union with Jesus Crucified
You endured the most painful sufferings
With such patience
As to deserve to be
Healed miraculously
Of an incurable cancer
In your leg by a touch
Of his divine hand.

Obtain for me
The grace to answer
Every call of God
And to fulfill His Will
In all the events of life.

Enkindle in my heart
A consuming zeal
For the salvation of souls;
Deliver me from the infirmities
that afflict my body

(State your intention(s) here)

Obtain for me
Perfect resignation to the sufferings
It may please God to send me,
So that, imitating our Crucified Savior
And His Sorrowful Mother,
I may merit eternal glory in heaven. Amen.

St. Peregrine, pray for me
And for all who invoke your aid.

St. Peregrine, pray for me
And for all who invoke your aid.

St. Peregrine, pray for me
And for all who invoke your aid.
