This fall, Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry is putting on a three-day virtual summit to celebrate the Year of St. Joseph. Titled OUR SPIRITUAL FATHER: Pilgrimage to the heart of Saint Joseph, this free event will take place from September 30 to October 3, 2021.
This unprecedented summit was organized by Deacon Steve Greco, president of Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry. He will also be hosting the event, which will feature presentations from over 50 Catholic evangelists. Cardinals Sean P. O’Malley of Boston and Timothy Dolan of New York are among those who have been confirmed as presenters.
In a press release, Deacon Greco said of the summit:
“This is the largest gathering of Catholics for Catholics all related to Saint Joseph, our spiritual father, who has so much to offer us in this Year of Saint Joseph,” said Deacon Steve Greco. “I am so edified that two of the most prominent Cardinals in the United States have joined the summit and will present on topics related to Saint Joseph. We have so much to learn about Saint Joseph and that our shepherds will be present to teach us is of utmost importance as we aim to reclaim spiritual fatherhood in our families and in our Church.”
The summit
Deacon Greco went on to explain that he was inspired to organize the event after reading Fr. Donald Calloway’s Consecration to Saint Joseph (Marian Press). The event will draw together Fr. Calloway’s teachings with the life of St. Joseph. The talks will follow themes pertaining to the family, healing, and spiritual warfare.
Fr. Calloway will also be a presenter at the summit. His presentation will include insights on St. Joseph from popes, saints, and Church mystics. Other presenters will include cardinals, priests, religious and lay leaders.
Attendees will be able to participate in live daily prayer and healing services with Deacon Greco. The summit will accept prayer requests and will interact with the faithful in real time. While the event is free to attend, they offer a premium package as well. This “premium passport” will allow attendees lifetime access to recordings of the summit as well as bonus content.
Deacon Greco noted that this may be the only Year of St. Joseph in our lifetimes. He has encouraged all faithful to attend this unique Catholic event. He said:
